Every three years, the Australian National University (ANU) may award a scholarship known as The Poppy Undergraduate Scholarship

The objectives of the scholarship are:

  • provide financial support to a person who experiences financial disadvantage;
  • help enable and encourage the recipient to continue their studies;
  • acknowledge the efforts and the courage of the recipient in pursuing the undergraduate study;
  • support and inspire the recipient to continue to contribute to their community.

Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies & Statistics Bachelor of Finance, Economics & Statistics (Honours) Scholarship title

Each year the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics ("RSFAS") within the ANU College of Business and Economics may offer up to five awards known as the RSFAS Bachelor of Finance, Economics and Statistics (Honours) Scholarship.

Coral Bell Scholarship title

The Coral Bell School of Asia-Pacific Affairs offers the Coral Bell Scholarship each year for full-time study in the Bachelor of International Security Studies Program (or a Flexible Double Degree that includes the Bachelor of International Security Studies). The scholarship aims to honour the legacy of Coral Bell by providing the means for a high achieving student to study in the Bell School's Bachelor of International Security Studies (BINSS) degree.

Each year the ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences and the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific may offer up to 30 awards known as the Ethel Tory Language Scholarship with the aim to provide funds to cover documented travel costs, for eligible students undertaking full‐time language study outside Australia, or full‐time language study of Australian Indigenous Languages within Australia.

Funding for this award has been provided by the Ethel Tory Endowment fund.
