This scholarship is offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Each year the Australian National University may offer a number of awards known as the Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship with the objective to assist Indigenous students with relocation and accommodation costs when moving from rural or regional areas or for those who are required to move out of the family home to study at the University.

Each year the Australian National University may offer a number of awards known as the Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship with the objective to assist Indigenous students with education costs related to studying at the University.

The John Kirby Memorial Scholarship is available for award each year to an eligible ANU bachelor degree student who has been nominated to and has been accepted by University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ) to study at that University as an exchange student under the terms of the Student Exchange Agreement signed by both institutions and administered through the Student Mobility Program.

The objective of the award is to assist an undergraduate Indigenous Australian student to undertake an approved program of study.

Funding for this award has been provided to honour the memory of Lindsay and his father Joseph Croft. 

Each year the Tjabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre offers the Judith Wright Scholarship with the aim of assisting female Indigenous students undertake research in their chosen field of study in the future.

This scholarship is offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

The scholarship has been generously established in memory of the distinguished Indigenous Australian, Ken Wanganeen. Mr Wanganeen completed his first degree with honours at Flinders University and during his career became Assistant Secretary in the Department of Aboriginal Affairs. He was committed to developing constructive ways of bringing the people of Australia together.

The objective of this scholarship is to encourage students to continue with tertiary education and to study their own culture and history.
