To commemorate the contribution of Professor R D Terrell to international relations and international student affairs, the University has established the Terrell International Undergraduate Scholarships to be awarded to international undergraduate students on the basis of their achievement in the first year of a Bachelor's degree at The Australian National University.
About this scholarship: The Tuckwell Scholarship Program is the most transformational undergraduate scholarship program in Australia. Every year, we offer 25 talented school-leavers the opportunity to fulfil their potential by actively participating in the very best that ANU has to offer. Scholars are selected on the basis of intellect, character, leadership and their commitment to Australia.
To acknowledge the University's relationship with the Canberra diplomatic community a scholarship has been established that provides a tuition fee concession to accredited diplomats and their immediate family.
These scholarships are intended to assist undergraduate and graduate students to undertake fieldwork and research, preferably in Northern Australia. The fieldwork projects will be of short duration between two and four weeks or as negotiated with the selection committee.
The ANU Accommodation Bursary is designed to assist full time ANU students, established in permanent accommodation, who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship. Priority may be given to students nearing the end of their studies and needing assistance to complete. All applications are considered by a committee. Lodging an application does not guarantee a bursary will be awarded. Bursaries provide temporary assistance and should not be regarded as on-going aid.

Each year, the University offers a Re-entry Scholarships for graduates who wish to resume academic studies after a break of at least three years since formal enrolment in a university program, the break normally being due to fulfilment of family obligations.
