The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships (RRES) Program has been expanded to increase tertiary education opportunities for rural and regional Australians studying any discipline from Certificate IV to PhD level through any mode of study including face-to-face or online/by distance.

The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) aims to improve access to health services needed in rural and remote areas by supporting an increase in skills, capacity and or/scope of practice of privately employed health professionals in the fields of medicine, nursing, allied health and Aboriginal health.

Each year the University may offer an ANU Rural and Regional Equity Scholarship with the aim to increase access and provide opportunities for students from regional and remote areas of Australia to attend ANU and to support first year students with accommodation and living costs.
