The Kambri Indigenous Undergraduate Scholarship at The Australian National University (ANU) was established to ensureIndigenous students receive the support required to succeed at university. The scholarship assists students in completing an undergraduate degree program by providing a flexible package of ongoing monetary and pastoral support to study at Australia's national university.
The scholarship program aims to create a cohort of Indigenous scholars, to foster an environment to long-term mentorship, influence, and paying it forward to the community and Country.

Each scholarship will be tailored to the needs of the recipient with consideration given to any other scholarship or income the student is eligible for, or entitled to. The scholarship may include but is not limited to:
Scholarships are tenable for up to 5 years of the recipients undergraduate degree program. Accommodation and stipend payments will be made at the beginning of each semester with any other allowances or scholarship components paid as appropriate.
The application process for the Kambri Indigenous Undergraduate Scholarship will consist of a two step process. Stage 1 is a written application with shortlisted candidates progressing to Stage 2.
Parts (a) and (b) of the application should be providedby the applicant and emailed to kambri.scholarship@anu.edu.au with the subject line: Kambri Scholarship Application - (insert your name)
(a) A statement with, where possible, supporting documentation outlining your involvement and leadership activities within your school and/or community.
(b) A statement describing what it would mean for you to be awarded this scholarship and how it may affect their life and time at University.
These statements should be submitted in a word document/PDF and should be, combined, at least one page long. This is your opportunity to sell yourself as a candidate. In part a, you are also welcome to discuss why you have chosen your selected degree program and your aspirations post University. In part (b) you can discuss not just the impact it may have on you but also your family and friends and how it may inspire others in your community/school.
For applicants who are completing, or have completed Year 12 in the past 2 years, Part (c) of the application should be provided by the School Principal and emailed directly by the School/Principal to kambri.scholarship@anu.edu.au with the subject line Kambri Scholarship Reference - (insert name of applicant).
For applicants who have completed Year 12 more than 2 years ago, Part (c) of the application should be provided by a teacher or employer and emailed directly by the teacher/employer to kambri.scholarship@anu.edu.au with the subject line Kambri Scholarship Reference - (insert name of applicant).
(c) A letter of recommendation. The letter should be provided on school/business letterhead and attest to the leadership qualities displayed by the applicant and their desire to undertake tertiary education.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the Kambri Scholarship Committee
