About this scholarship
Every three to five years the ANU College of Business and Economics may offer an award known as the College of Business and Economics D. Brownbill Family Scholarship.
The objective of the award is to strengthen educational outcomes for students both in terms of skills development and preparation for further study or employment, improve equity access figures for the University, and raise awareness of the acute disadvantages that some students face in accessing university education.

Eligibility
The award is available to a prospective ANU student who:
- is a domestic student;
- receives an offer of admission to an undergraduate coursework program offered by the College; and
- is eligible for and received adjustment factors for financial hardship under the National Access Scheme.
Selection
Selection is made on the basis of the applicant's level of financial hardship demonstrated. Academic merit may be considered where two or more candidates are assessed as having the same level of financial hardship.

The duration of the award will be up to four years, depending on the program in which the recipient is enrolled. The award is valued at $6,000 per annum based on 24 unit enrolment per semester or 6 months period.
All applicants applying for admission to ANU through the direct Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application will be automatically considered for the award based on them meeting the eligibility criteria and electing to be considered for scholarships.
