Applying to transfer to a different residence

As a part of our bi-annual Inter-Hall Transfer, all existing residents will have the opportunity to submit a request to relocate to a different residence for Semester 2, in case their current living arrangements no longer suit their lifestyle.
The transfer process, which began on Monday, 1st May 2023 (00:01)), has now officially concluded as of Monday 8th May 2023 (08:00). All decisions regarding the transfers have been communicated to the students.
To be eligible for an Inter-Hall Transfer, you must be a current enrolled ANU student, not have any tariff or other fee arrears, and have no other breaches of your Occupancy Agreement or Residential Handbook.

Things to remember when applying to transfer:
- While we will make every effort to accommodate your needs and preferences, the number of available transfer rooms is limited and therefore we cannot guarantee the success of your application.
- If your application is successful, the transfer will take effect in the following semester (Semester 2, 2023), and you will be required to pay the acceptance fees in line with the ANU Residential Schedule of Fees. Further information will be communicated to you in your offer letter.
- No late applications will be accepted.
- Only one Inter-Residence Transfer application can be submitted.
- Inter-Hall Transfer process is distinct from Semester 2 applications. Kindly refrain from submitting a new application for Semester 2, as it will not be considered through this process.
